Once upon a time in a clearing in the forest, I lost my fear and found my wings
Many of us are not one dimensional beings. We're layered and we have lived or will live many lives. In my 20's I was daring and fearless. My confidence and spirit got me a wonderful career designing children's clothes. I traveled the fashion capitals in the US and abroad, and will forever be grateful for the experience.
I grew tired of design after 9 years and found a community of artists that wanted to change the universe. There I learned to paint. We fueled one another with art and dreams. Some of them did change the universe. I had a beautiful girl and she changed mine.
Etsy kept me busy when time permitted. It was an outlet then and something every creative being needs; confirmation that someone out there likes what you do.
I then moved to a place so pretty and welcoming, it was impossible not to be inspired. In a valley surrounded by mountains in various shades of blue where the clouds burst with rains that feed the forest floors and our own garden paths. Moss paints everything, damp leaves cling to the walking paths, rhododendrons carry on in defiance of their age-and so will I. The air is fresh, and compels me to fly.
